Understanding Anger
This online course provides a comprehensive understanding of anger, exploring it’s psychological, physiological, and social dimensions. Participants will learn that feeling angry is a normal and valid emotion, and that how we manage this anger shapes our behaviour and interactions with others.
Participants can enrol at any time. Completion is self-paced but is step guided, and it is recommended you allow 6 weeks to complete. Recommended for ages 18+.
A Certificate of completion will be provided after successfully finishing the course and all assessments.
Learning objectives:
By the end of this course participants will be able to:-
- Define anger and its characteristics.
- Identify the physiological and psychological components of anger.
- Explore the causes and triggers of anger.
- Understand the impact of anger on individuals and relationships.
- Recognise that anger is a valid emotion.
- Develop strategies for managing and expressing anger constructively.
Participants will complete a short quiz after every module.
Course material including space for reflective journaling will be provided by download. During the course participants will have the opportunity to complete reflective journal entries on their personal experiences with anger which will facilitate planning and implementing the strategies learned.
