SAFE WORD AGREEMENT

A Safe Word is a pre-agreed word or phrase that can be used during an argument to signal that it’s time to pause and step away. Choose something unlikely to be said during a disagreement, such as “pineapple,” “unicorn” or “peach.” If you forget the agreed word, simply saying “Safe Word” can also be used.
