Observation is Key

When you start paying attention to your reactions to events, situations, people, thoughts; whatever might trigger a negative response in you; your life can be easier to navigate. Observation leads to understanding which then allows you to consider how to moderate your behaviours, adjust your reaction and navigate your day or events more calmly.

Itu2019s always good to apprehend your emotions while they are small ripples and manageable and before they become tsunamis of big emotions. It is much easier to recover from reactive small emotions than big overwhelming emotions. Also, the negative fallout from reactive small emotions is much less than those big ones that cause arguments and words or actions you wish you hadnu2019t engaged in.
