There is a strong connection between a healthy body and healthy mind. When you’re caring for your body, you’ll think and feel better too. Physical activity can take on many forms: team sports, individual challenges, small group activities or even individual training. Remember, we also use physical activity for purposes other than self-care (e.g. for some, walking the dog is a chore rather than self-care). Is your physical activity doing a job or is it recharging your personal batteries? The important thing to consider is the question: “Is this energising me for my own wellbeing?”
