Understanding Anger

This online course provides a comprehensive understanding of anger, exploring it’s psychological, physiological, and social dimensions. Participants will learn that feeling angry is a normal and valid emotion, and that how we manage this anger shapes our behaviour and interactions with others.

Participants can enrol at any time. Completion is self-paced  but  is step guided, and it is recommended you allow 6  weeks to complete. Recommended for ages 18+.

A Certificate of completion will be provided after successfully finishing the course and all assessments.

Learning objectives:

By the end of this course participants will be able to:-

  1.  Define anger and its characteristics.
  2.  Identify the physiological and psychological components of anger.
  3.  Explore the causes and triggers of anger.
  4.  Understand the impact of anger on individuals and relationships.
  5.  Recognise that anger is a valid emotion.
  6.  Develop strategies for managing and expressing anger constructively.

Participants will complete a short quiz after every module.

Course material including space for reflective journaling will be provided by download. During the course participants will have the opportunity to complete reflective journal entries on their personal experiences with anger which will facilitate planning and implementing the strategies learned.

Participants will also be afforded the opportunity to have a one on one [50 mins max] session with one of our professional team members for further support and opportunities to clarify any outstanding issues. To book this appointment email us at contact@menstoolbox.org

The YOU Program

The YOU Program provides an opportunity for individuals aged 18 years and over to increase self-awareness and improve mental health, overall health and wellbeing. You will gain an improved understanding of the key factors that contribute to the relationship you have with yourself and others. Including:

  • Your personality type,
  • Your stress response &
  • Your recovery from stress.

When you have increased self-awareness, you are less likely to find yourself:

  • apologising for who you are,
  • seeking the approval of others &
  • caring about what others think.

Self-awareness allows you to align your actions, thoughts and emotions with your beliefs and values. Then you will know when to call bullsh!t on yourself and others when needed. This increases your chances of living a successful, meaningful and satisfying life and helps reduce your risk of issues or problems, mental health, overall health, and wellbeing.

Increased self-awareness can improve:

  • Your relationship with you
  • Your relationship with your partner
  • Your relationship with your children
  • Your career/job satisfaction
  • Your resilience to tough times because sh!t happens!
  • Your overall health &wellbeing

A Course for Male Survivors of Relationship Violence

Welcome to the Course

This course recognises that Men are not always the perpetrators of family/domestic violence. Mens Toolbox provides support services for men, particularly men as survivors of domestic and relationship violence. By completing this course, you should be able to identify the various types of violence and whether you are living in a toxic relationship.
